Unlike other implants, which tend to be textured, Motiva® uses SmoothSilk® Technology.
Each implant is soft and smooth to the touch—making implantation and recovery a quick and stress-free process. Recent studies have shown that the smooth surface of Motiva® can optimize biocompatibility and reduce the risk of an inflammatory response. Because this can lead to lessened swelling and discomfort post-operation, Motiva® is a popular choice among busy mothers and careerwomen.

Motiva® silicone implants offer a natural look for a discreet body transformation. These implants contain ProgressiveGel®, which mimics the natural movement of breast tissue.
Just as natural breasts do not retain shape and change depending on the body’s position, Motiva® implants spread and stretch to mirror this effect. For organic results, the Motiva® Ergonomix® line is a masterclass in seamless adaptation. These specialized implants hold a teardrop shape when the body is upright. When the body lies down or rests on its side, these implants then morph to assume a rounder resting position.

During your consultation, you will meet with Dr. John W. Tyrone or Dr. David Mateo de Acosta to discuss your desired contour and results.
You and your physician will also review your medical history, current medications, and implant options to create a personalized surgical plan. You may also be fitted during this consultation for your complimentary medical compression bra.
After your procedure, plan for a friend, family member, or trusted loved one to drive you home. Avoid driving or lifting heavy objects post-operation.
While side effects and symptoms may vary between patients, most experience soreness and fatigue. Breasts will often be swollen and tender for up to a month after implantation. To prevent unwanted sagging or drooping, it is recommended for patients to wear a medical compression bra without an underwire. This bra will contain a custom, specially-fitted pocket so that your new breasts will maintain their shape and perkiness.
You will be asked to routinely follow up with your physician for examination and to inspect for breast implant-related issues. Contact Dr. David Mateo for more information.
