Once cleared by our team at North Florida Plastic Surgery & Aesthetics, patients may begin gentle breast massage as part of their post-operative care.
These instructional videos are provided to guide you through the recommended techniques to support healing and achieve optimal results. Please follow all guidance from Dr. Tyrone and Dr. Mateo and reach out to our office with any questions.
Position your fingertips on the inner sides of your breasts and gently press outward. Hold for 10 seconds, then release. Repeat this movement three times, twice daily.
Place your left palm flat about 1–2 inches above the nipple of your right breast, then position your right palm on top of your left. Gently lift the breast toward your collarbone while pressing inward toward your chest. You should see the implant bulge in the lower portion of the breast—this helps stretch the lower pole, allowing the implant to settle naturally. Hold for 10 seconds, then release. Repeat three times, twice daily. Perform the same steps on the other breast.
Position the palms of your hands with fingers extended behind each implant, near the sides of your chest, just beneath your armpits, where the implants begin. Gently press the implants together. Hold for 10 seconds, then release. Repeat this three times, twice daily.
Using either the same side or the opposite hand, cup your breast just beneath the natural crease. Gently squeeze your thumb and fingers together—you should see the implant shift upward toward your collarbone. Hold for 10 seconds, then release. Repeat three times, twice daily on each breast. This exercise is safe to continue long-term, as it helps maintain the implant pocket and reduces the risk of capsular contracture.
