Natrelle® Breast Implants
Whether you have transitioned into motherhood or recently overcame breast cancer, breast augmentation can help you reclaim your body and restore your confidence. Both breast augmentation and breast reconstruction serve as effective procedures to replace lost, sagging, or wrinkly breast tissue due to cancer, pregnancy, breastfeeding, or a developmental breast abnormality.
For full, long-lasting implants you are sure to love, North Florida Plastic Surgery & Aesthetic Center offers Natrelle® by Allergan breast implants. Contact our office today to schedule a virtual or in-person consultation.

Benefits Of Natrelle® Implants
NATRELLE® silicone-filled breast implants and NATRELLE INSPIRA® breast implants have a smooth, gummy-like texture that holds its shape over time. If you are experiencing self-esteem issues or body dysmorphia due to sagging or reduced breast size, Natrelle® implants can enhance your breast volume and fullness. Additionally, if the size of your breasts vary drastically, Natrelle® implants may also be used to achieve body symmetry and a harmonious look to the chest.
Who Is A Good Candidate?
Natrelle® breast implants with silicone are recommended for women of at least 22 years of age. If you are seeking to increase your breast size, correct the outcome of a previous breast augmentation, or pursue breast reconstruction after cancer or a developmental breast abnormality, Natrelle® by Allergan may be the right choice for you.
You may be at risk if:
- You have an autoimmune disease.
- You have a weakened immune system or currently take medications that weaken the immune system.
- You are currently taking blood thinners.
- You have planned chemotherapy following the procedure.
You should not undergo breast augmentation if:
- You have an active infection in the body.
- You are currently pregnant or nursing.
- You have existing or ongoing breast cancer that has not yet been fully treated.
Breast implants are not a lifetime device. Talk with your doctor to learn if you qualify for breast augmentation or breast lift procedures.
What To Expect During Your Consultation
During your consultation with Dr. John W. Tyrone or Dr. David Mateo de Acosta, you will be able to discuss the best profile and fullness for your body. Your results and recovery rate will be determined depending on multiple factors, including age, health, skin elasticity, breast structure and shape, previous breast procedures or past medical history, current medications or prescriptions, and habits such as smoking or drinking. All of these factors must be individually considered before the procedure can take place.
Use the consultation as an opportunity to ask questions and review before-and-after photos that showcase the transformation you wish to achieve. Your consultation may also be used as a fitting for your postoperative bra.
Post-Operative Recovery And Care
Soreness, bruising, swelling, and sensitivity are all common following breast augmentation or revision. Patients may also experience chest tightness as their skin adjusts to their new breast size.
It is advised for patients to have a trusted person drive them home once they are discharged. This person should also stay with the patient overnight.
Avoid any strenuous activities for the first few weeks. Please take any medications according to your doctor’s recommendations. Breast massages or a compression bra may be encouraged.
After the surgery, it is strongly recommended for patients to schedule periodic imaging of their silicone implants. An MRI or an ultrasound 5-6 years after the surgery can be used to screen for signs of implant rupture that might otherwise have gone undetected.
