John W. Tyrone, M.D.
Dr. Tyrone conducted two years of scientific research at Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois, focusing on Plastic Surgery and Wound Healing. He has published extensively and presented his work at both national and international conferences. His research has earned several prestigious awards, including a grant from the Plastic Surgery Education Foundation, and he has authored multiple textbook chapters.
With an early passion for plastic surgery, Dr. Tyrone secured a highly competitive fellowship in Plastic Surgery at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. Emory’s Division of Plastic Surgery is widely regarded as one of the top programs in the nation and a global leader in plastic surgery innovation for over 30 years. Dr. Tyrone excelled during his time at Emory, receiving numerous honors and serving as Chief Resident.
With over 14 years of advanced education and training following his undergraduate degree, Dr. Tyrone is one of the most highly trained physicians in the Southeast. He is an expert in all aspects of plastic and reconstructive surgery, including aesthetic procedures for the face and breast, as well as cancer reconstruction.
